Celebrating 25 years in business

This year Electrio is celebrating 25 years in business.
Electrio started in 1994 with three friends who had been working together for a number of years.
Today the company has a team of 26 commercial electricians who are directly employed; they design, install and maintain electrical systems and lighting for organisations across the south west including NHS hospitals, the food production industry, retail centres, schools and constabularies.
Keys to success
Evolving with the times and building a team of dedicated, skilled people has been key to Electrio’s success.
Since 1995 the team has trained almost a dozen apprentices who have all stayed with the company as it has grown, including their first apprentice who now works as a site supervisor on large commercial electrical projects.
The team actively stay on top of training and industry trends which has helped them keep pace with new technologies as they emerge, and meet changing customer needs. They’ve also kept abreast of changes to health and safety, industry accreditations, lighting design and installations to make sure they continuously provide an exceptional service.
A brand to be proud of
Change hasn’t only come to the industry, Electrio has moved office twice and rebranded in 2004.
The Electrio team are proud of the company and the work they do. Their branded uniforms are a source of pride; showing that the team are accountable and happy to represent the business, while giving clients the assurance of knowing who’s onsite.
Electrio founding member, Tony Long says:
“I’m proud of the service we’ve provided to our customers over the last 25 years and while a large proportion of the industry don’t take any pride in what they do we always install to the highest standards and are proud of the work we do.
“Our success is largely down to our staff and clients feeling valued, which is why they stay with us and why the business continues to grow.”
Looking to the future
As established experts working with hospitals and the NHS, Electrio plans to continue expanding by sharing their extensive commercial electrical experience with more clients in the industrial, food processing industries, manufacturing and facilities support sectors.
