Kitting out a new home for Cheddar police

Aug 2017

During August and September 2017 Electrio worked with main contractor, DRA to provide electrical support for a new police station and office area for the school staff at The Kings of Wessex Academy in Cheddar. Following the closure of the old police station, the policing team will now share accommodation with the staff at the Academy.

This project was especially challenging due to the short time scale, plus the restrictions imposed by converting an old building into a modern facility. The standard of work carried out by the main contractor DRA was fantastic, it has great to be part of a project that Dave Avery from DRA made possible.

“I was very impressed with the dedication and commitment of your staff when carrying out the works to a very high standard in very difficult circumstances i.e. reduced working period, additional works and having to work out of sequence to facilitate other trades. I can only thank you again and ask that you pass this on to all of your team. I do not know how you managed to achieve it, but you did.”

“Electrio provide a first class service and a fully competent support service regarding the planning and co-ordination of the works. I would recommend them to anyone who is considering carrying out similar works. Hospital precincts contain critical service areas and I fully trusted Electrio to maintain these services throughout, they have a conscientious and professional approach and fully appreciate the need to maintain these critical services.”

Senior Engineer, North Bristol NHS Trust

“Thank you for your help in being able to complete on time a very difficult project. This was a lot of work condensed into two weeks and without your help could not have been achieved, please pass our gratitude onto all your operatives who took part.”
