Creating a far more sustainable business

As a business Electrio has a great deal of interest in sustainability and reducing carbon emissions. As well as helping customers improve their energy efficiency we are also continually looking at ways to lower the carbon footprint of our own operation.

We recently the invested in two electrics vans with a third planned for later this year. We already run four electric company cars and have installed 17KW of photo voltaic (PV) solar panels on our office roof.

Let the sun shine

When the sun shines we can charge our office cars or vans via three smart chargers on electricity that is being generated by our PV panels as well as export to the grid.

We get really excited when the sun shines and we can run the office off the grid and just on solar and we are now planning to add battery storage to allow us to make best use of the energy generated by our PV panels when the office or vehicles aren’t being used.
