The Challenge

Following a competitive tender, Electrio was awarded the contract to supply and install a new UPS/IPS system within the ITU (Intensive Care Unit) and recovery wards of Weston General Hospital. The team needed to minimise disruption to ensure no loss of beds in this critical care unit.

The Solution

In order to undertake the necessary electrical work our team worked closely with all departments at the hospital over a 6 month period. This ensured minimal disruption alllowing the critical care area to remain open, only closing for scheduled periods.

The project included a complete rewire of the existing bed head electrical services and new UPS /IPS systems located in a remote location.
