LED Lighting | Healthcare

The Challenge

To install 190 LED lights complete, with a lighting scene control system to allow full flexibility and control of each light individually, on the exterior of the BRI Hospital.

The Solution

Electrio was part of a £3.5 million project to install and illluminate a new facade at the BRI. Working closely with overcladding specialists, D&B facades, and Specialist Lighting, Electrio electricians installed the new energy-saving lighting.

To provide a safe working platform, a cladding frame was constructed so that Electrio's electricians could install supplies from various distribution points, which housed all the LED drivers and DALI controls. To ensure the hospital could control the setting a head end DALI controller was included.

“Thank you for your help in being able to complete on time a very difficult project. This was a lot of work condensed into two weeks and without your help could not have been achieved, please pass our gratitude onto all your operatives who took part.”

Operations Manager, MIDAS property services

“I have been asked to pass on the thanks of our CEO for your valuable assistance during the power supply problems of Sunday evening and Monday morning. Please extend this to all members of your team who were involved in the works. ”

Hospital Engineer, Royal United Hospitals, Bath

“I was very impressed with the dedication and commitment of your staff when carrying out the works to a very high standard in very difficult circumstances i.e. reduced working period, additional works and having to work out of sequence to facilitate other trades. I can only thank you again and ask that you pass this on to all of your team. I do not know how you managed to achieve it, but you did.”
