Project: Construction of new wing of Intensive Care Unit
Scope: The project involved the construction of a new four-bedroom wing consisting of individual isolation rooms and included alterations and refurbishment to areas of the existing ward and associated rooms.

The existing electrical installation was extended into the new four-bedroom wing. It was retained and modified to suit the new room layouts within the existing building. The Fire Alarm System was totally replaced with a new Honeywell Gent Vigilon System. The Nurse call system was extended and new medical services wall units fitted to accommodate all electrical and medical gas services.

We have worked extensively within the Health Care sector have a great deal of experience and expertise in this area. As such we were able to work closely alongside the design team and offer our advice on the design and installation for the bedhead services, ensuring the most efficient, reliable and cost efficient solution was achieved.

This was a sensitive project as the unit had to remain open and fully functional throughout the duration of the project.
